- First place the sieve in large bowl. Place cottage kerchief or kitchen napkin in it.
- Pour curd and tie it tightly. Put little weight over it and keep it in a refrigerator. Keep it for 6 to 7 hours or overnight.
- Now hung Curd is ready. It is Approximately 1.2 kg. Soak saffron strands in milk. Keep it aside.
- Take this hung curd in large mixing bowl. Add saffron, cardamom powder and powder sugar. Mix gently with spatula.
- Whip the hung curd using electric beater. Whip it for about 5 to 6 minutes or till it becomes smooth.
- Shrikhand is ready. Serve chilled.
