To begin with this recipe, mix veg mayonnaise, tamarind pulp, tandoori mayonnaise, red chili powder,garlic paste, lemon juice, garam masala and roasted gram flour in a bowl. Next, add the chopped garlic and fry it till it becomes little brownish in colour. Next add the chopped capsicum, green chilli and tomato, cook it well for about 3-4 minutes until tomatoes become soft and mushy.
- Next add the pav bhaji masala, red chilli powder and salt and fry the masala well in low flame by adding little water at a time for about 3-4 minutes. Next, add the tomato ketchup and again cook for 2 minutes.
- Next add the appe/paniyaram and coat it well with the masala, splash little water, if it becomes too dry. Fry it for about 2-3 minutes and take it out.
- In a serving dish, put the fried masala appe and garnish it with whisked curd, sweet tamarind chutney, green coriander chutney, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, some Sev or chana dal fry or peanuts and enjoy.
