- Mix the saffron strands in warm milk and set aside.
- Remove the dense curd or Chakka as it is called in Marathi into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the powdered sugar and the mango puree gradually and whip the curd with an electric / hand mixer for a good 15-20 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Add the saffron milk and the cardamom powder and fold in gently.
- Keep the Aamrakhand in a serving bowl and refrigerate for atleast 2 hours.
- Serve chilled!
