- Prepare chicken shorba. Heat oil in a wok and add onion puree and cook for 10 minutes
- Add ginger garlic paste and all whole spices.
- Now blend tomato puree in 2 tbsp yogurt. Add this to onion mixture and cook for another 10 minutes
- Now add chicken, all powdered spices except garam masala and potatoes. Cook well until oil separates
- Now add water and cover and cook for 15 minutes then uncover and cook until it reaches desired consistency
