  5. Prepare 1 dash Carrot
  6. Get 1/2 cube Chicken consommé
  7. Take 1 Salt and pepper

  9. Prepare 1/2 tbsp Milk

Woo's Korean version of the dish adds the egg right on top for an even easier approach.. Add the fried rice onto your bento. I wanted to put omurice in a bento box, but I wondered how should I stuff it? So, after some trial and error, I came up with this method.

Instructions to make Omurice for your Bento:
  1. Finely chop the bacon, onion, and garlic. Sauté in a frying pan with oil.
  2. Once the vegetables have cooked, add the rice and stir-fry while breaking up the rice. Sprinkle the chicken consommé on top, mix it in. Add salt and pepper if needed.
  3. Add the milk to the beaten egg and season with salt and pepper. Make an egg crepe in a small frying pan.
  4. Put the egg crepe on plastic wrap and line the bento box. Top with the rice from Step 2.
  5. Remove Step 4 from the box with the plastic wrap.
  6. Put the bento box on top of Step 5.
  7. Firmly pinch the wrap around the bento box and flip it over!
  8. Remove the wrap and you have a perfectly snug omurice.

For the filling, use enough rice to suit your bento box. Recipe by Kanatsutoe Place warm ketchup rice in plastic wrap, wrap completely, and then shape into a football shape with your hands. Have the bento box you'll be using on hand, and then compare the shape of your rice to the edge of the bento box to ensure it will fit snugly.
