Heat the paniyaram pan and grease it with oil/ghee. Take a spoonful of batter and pour in each cup of pan. Fry the paniyaram evenly on both the sides by rotating with the help of a needle like wooden stick. Remove the paniyaram and proceed with the remaining batter.

Instructions to make Banana Paniyaram:
  1. Take a mixer jar, add banana slices and sugar. Grind it into a smooth paste.
  2. Now in the same mixer jar add maida and wheat flour and start grinding it.
  3. Add water little by little and adjust the consistency. It should be in the idli batter consistency.
  4. Now transfer it into a pan.
  5. Add ghee, salt and cardamom powder to that and make a batter.
  6. Mix the baking soda with one spoon of water and then add it to the batter.
  7. Rest it for 30 mins so that all the ingredients get mix well together.
  8. Now take the Paniyaram pan and heat it.
  9. Add oil or ghee in all compartment and pour the batter.
  10. Once it's cooked, flip it and cook on the other side also.
  11. Now the hot and sweet Paniyaram is ready..!! Serve it and enjoy..!!
