  3. Bring to boil turn down to simmer let simmer covered for 30 min.
  4. Add masa flour bring back to a boil let boil 2 min.

I find it more difficult to make beef salty, spicy and sweet without being overpowering, this came out wonderfully spicy. Another great recipe from my Aunt Toni. Unusual but wonderfully tasty as was proved this Fall when my DH and I won a chili cook-off with it. If you like peppers that pack plenty of heat, then consider growing Hawaiian chili peppers. Left the kidney beans & pork & beans as is.
