- Cut yams in smaller cubes, pour water to cover yam, add salt and granulated sugar. you can leave out the sugar but it makes yam tastier
- Cut vegetables including onions and set aside.
- When yam is done, sieve off water.
- In a dry pot, make the sauce for the yam. Pour palm oil, add onions, pepper, crayfish, seasoning cubes and the ugba.
- Stir fry for a few minutes. Taste to see if salt is needed. Adjust taste accordingly
- Pour in yam into the boiling sauce. Let it boil all together for 3 minutes.
- Add the vegetables and turn off heat. Enjoy!
