- Clean hibiscus flowers and remove stem. Put them in a cup of boiling water and set aside. Add few drops of lemon juice and see its colour changing to red.

- In a bowl take rice flour. Add a pinch of salt and divide it into 2 equal parts. In one part add hibiscus water and make a smooth dough. And in another part add tulsi paste and make a smooth dough. Cover and set aside for 2 minutes.
- In a bowl take khoya,powdered sugar,grated coconut,cardamom powder and nuts and mix everything well. Make a small balls from both of dough. Grease your hand with ghee and Flattened rice balls on your palm and fill with khoya mixture and shaped like modak with hands or with mould. Keep all prepared modak in steamer and steamed for 20-25 minutes. After 25 minutes remove from heat.cool down and serve.
