- Take 5 slices of bread and tear them roughly with hands - Add the pieces in a grinder jar. - Pulse or grind to get a texture like bread crumbs.
- Take all the ingredients (except oil) in a Mixing bowl.
- Mix them completely and then add the bread crumbs in bowl. - - Mix very well first, then begin to knead to a smooth dough.
- Try not to add water as the curd will help in binding the dough.
- If needed then wet your hand with water and knead to form a smooth dough. - Divide the dough in to small or medium sized balls and then flatten them and make a hole in the center as medhu vada. Keep aside.
- Heat oil for deep frying in a kadai. - - Now carefully slid the prepared vadas in the hot oil.
- Fry the bread vadas till crisp and golden. - When the crust looks golden, this means the vada is done.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil - Place them on kitchen paper towels to get rid of extra oil.
- Fry the remaining bread vadas this way in batches. - Serve hot instant bread wadas with green chutney or ketchup
