- Dry roast dry chillies and dal seperately in a kadai
- In the same kadai fry the coconut untill brown with salt and curry leaves and coriander
- Now add the roasted chillies and dal into roasted coconut and roast for 1 minute
- Let it cool and ground it in to powder without any water (note:cannot add water in this recipe because we cannot store it for long)
- Cool the powder and keep it in a air tight jar and use it with coconut oil
