  2. Prepare 1/4 cup Oil

  1. Wash and peel potatoes and chop in bite size chunks.
  2. Heat oil in pan add zeera when it pops up add potato chunks and fry in oil at low to medium flame
  3. Add all spices one by one.coat potato well in masala. Cover the lid and leave to cook at medium flame. Potato will be soft in own moisture
  4. If needed add little water to soften up potatoes. I like my zeera aloo whole and not soggy or moist in masala. So dnt add water.
  5. Check in between. When potato are soft fry again at medium to high flame to get some brown colour. Sprinkle fresh chop coriander before serving.
  6. Enjoy zeera aloo with naan rice or even withbuns. Goes with anything.
