- Cut each rice cakes into 8 pieces. Put in a bowl and fill with water just so it covers the rice cakes. Microwave on medium (700W) for about 1 Min 10 secs.
- Place kinako powder on cling wrap. Place rice cakes onto powder. Use the edges of the cling wrap to fold and top mochi with powder. This way, you do not need to touch the sticky mochi!
- Enjoy in a pretty plate!
