  21. Take Onion 1 medium chopped
  22. Prepare Green chillies 4 chopped
  23. Take 1 tbsp Mandi masala
Instructions to make Chicken Mandi:
  1. Blend all spices then add lemon juice and oil
  2. 1/4 cup of water and soak the saffron and mix it blend masala of mandi
  3. Cut the chicken and apply the MANDI masala on all chicken pieces leave them 3 to 4 hours or over night (Save 1tbsp of Mandi Masala for Rice)
  4. Prepare the steamer and put the chicken to steam for at least 8 minutes for each side
  5. Save the water of steamed chicken
  6. Add 2 tbsp oil then add chicken pieces and shallow fry until nice golden colour on both sides
  7. Soak rice for 2 to 3 hour's
  8. Heat the oil then add chopped onion and fry till light golden colour
  9. Add chopped green chillies and remaining mandi masala fry few seconds
  10. Add the saved water from steamer for cooking rice if water is less then you can add normal water
  11. Add soaked rice add salt to taste and simmer then pour into the remaining saffron water put the lid
  12. Let them simmer until rice are fully done
  13. Serve in large round dish
