The ingredients needed to make Putu Ayu:
  1. Make ready 200 gr flour
  2. Get 200 gr castor sugar
  3. Make ready 200 ml coconut milk (santan)
  4. Make ready 2 eggs
  5. Take Cake emulsifier (SP)
  6. Get Pandan paste
  7. Get leaves Pandan
  8. Take Salt
  9. Take Cooking oil
  10. Prepare Shredded coconut
Steps to make Putu Ayu:
  1. Steam some shredded coconut, when it cools sprinkles some salt.
  2. Preheat the steamer.
  3. Mix castor sugar and eggs with high speed mixer. Then add flour, salt,SP, mix until it's smooth.
  4. Pour some coconut milk into the dough, when it turns to batter, turn down the mixer to medium speed.
  5. To bring out the colour, drop 1 to 2 pandan paste. Mix well.
  6. Rub the cake mold with cooking oil, put and press the shredded coconut at the bottom. Next, pour the batter in.
  7. Steam the batter for 20 minutes. Don't forget to cover the steam pod with cloth to keep the moisture.
