My personal requirements for perfection are: A stable meat pie crust. Using a fork, stir in the water until the dough pulls together, adding additional ice water by the teaspoonful if necessary. Add water to cover cooked beef, add onions and enough bouillon granules to taste. Cook until the onions are soft.
Instructions to make Soft meat pie:
- In a clean bowl sieve ur flour add ur yeast,salt,maggi mix them together break ur egg den add ur warm water little by little untill u make a soft dough cover and live to rest for 10mn pls
- In a pan pour some oil put ur slice onion ur scotch bonnet Ginger n garlic stir fry add ur minced meat stir it wel and ur Maggi,Curry thyme and spice add little water and cover it to cook
- After 10mn den bring out ur dough and cut into small balls den dust ur working surface with flour and roll out each ball into round shape depending on the size u want.put ur filling in the middle of it and fold or use meatpie cutter.
- Fry it untill it's done
- DONE✓
Season with salt and pepper to your taste and make sure the filling has enough bouillon to have a nice beef flavor. Putting the pie that is ready for the oven on a hot cookie sheet helps liquefy the solid layers of fat in the pastry so the dough will become impermeable to the liquid in the pie filling. Before you start assembling the pie, put a cookie sheet in the oven. Remove the cookie sheet from the oven (don't forget an oven mitt—it will be very hot!) and set the pie on it. If you want some sweetness too in the pie, then you can add one teaspoon of sugar into it as well.
