- Boil the amla for 2 to 3 minutes. Then switch off the gas. Cover the vessel for 5 minutes.
- Drain out the amla. Heat the sugar, amla and water together in a pan or kadhai on low flame. Stir it at regular interval.
- Now the sugar syrup is little thick in consistency. Now switch off the gas.
- Let it cool down. Now add cardamom powder and saffron mix well. Transfer it to the glass container.
