This veg paniyaram is the best breakfast option for kids. Basically, muthia is fist-size dumpling usually made with chickpea flour and Fenugreek leaves but a variety of vegetables and flours can be used to make it. Here I have made methi muthia using multigrain flour, have steamed them in a steamer and then tempered the bite-size pieces. This is a very easy recipe that can be prepared fast when in lack of time and is a breeze work as there is no heavy grinding involved.

Instructions to make Multigrain veg Paniyaram:
  1. Firstly in a large mixing bowl combine rawa and all flours, curd and salt.
  2. Mix well to from paste without forming any lumps. Further add water as required.
  3. Mix well to form thick batter and keep aside for the 10-15 minutes.
  4. After 15 minutes the batter must have soaked all the water. If the batter is thick then add so more water
  5. Batter should be a pouring consistency.
  6. In a small pan heat 1 tsp oil and add mustard seeds they start pop add curry leaves and add add it to paniyaaram mixture and mix well.
  7. Now add a pinch of baking soda just before preparing appam and mix well.
  8. Now fill the batter in each hole in appam mould and cover and simmer for a minute.
  9. Cook on a slow flame until appam gets cooked slightly golden brown.
  10. Flip it to the other side using a spoon and cook for turns golden brown.
  11. Remove them out in a plate. And serve with tea, tomato sauce, green chutney, and coconut chutney.
  12. Also serve as in kids tiffen.
