Heat the paniyaram pan and grease it with oil/ghee. Take a spoonful of batter and pour in each cup of pan. Fry the paniyaram evenly on both the sides by rotating with the help of a needle like wooden stick. Remove the paniyaram and proceed with the remaining batter.

  1. Take a grinder jar add chopped 2 bananas grind it to make a paste. Add jaggery & rice flour.
  2. Add coconut & again grind it. Pour the batter on a bowl. Add crushed black peppercorn, fennel seeds salt & baking soda mix well. Add milk mix well & make a smooth batter.
  3. Heat an appe pan add ghee, pour 1 tbsp batter &cover it for 5 mints. After 5 mints flip the appe
  4. Banana poniyaram is ready. Garnish with desiccated coconut & chopped cherries and serve it.
