- Take 1/2 cup Oil

- Make ready 10 Almonds
- Get 1 tsp Cumin seeds

- Prepare 2 tbsp Coriander seeds
- Make ready 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- Make ready As per taste Salt
- Get Few Coriander leaves chopped
I love Indian food, and this is one of my favorite cuisines in the world. Their food is very flavorful and rich in spices. The masala base for this prawn karhayi is pretty basic. Its a tomato based gravy so it has lots of tomatoes and very little onion, and some yogurt in the end.
Instructions to make Prawn masala:
- Take a pan add oil then add onion and fry it. Then add almonds, green chillies, red chilli, ginger-garlic, coconut, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds and fry well. After it cools down then grind it in a mixer grinder.
- Add prawns and add salt and red chilli powder turmeric powder and marinate it.
- Take a pan add oil, add prawns and fry well then add the ground masala and fry well. Add tamarind pulped fry and add coriander leaves. Turn the flame off. It's ready to serve with romali roti or butter naan.
- Enjoy with your family.
Start off by adding ghee or butter in a wok. Add finely chopped garlic, onion and green chilies. Now i made a masala style prawn recipe and it was yummy.
