  5. Using a table knife cut ur batter to form a diamond shape and top ur almond on each shape
  6. (6) bake on a preheated oven for 30-40 mins or until golden brown
  7. (7)cut ur cake again and pour in ur syrup
  8. (8) tadaaa! Ur basbousa is ready🤗

It is made from a semolina batter in a pan, sweetened with orange flower water, rose water or simple syrup.
