  1. First of all cut the mangoes into pieces according to your desire.
  2. Now take a pan on medium flame and pour 1 liter of water in it and make it hot and put the mango pieces in it and cook until they get soft.
  3. It will take 10 to 12 minutes to soften. After 10 to 12 minutes, it will look as below.
  4. Now strain the mango pieces and set the water aside and pour the mango pieces in the same pot on medium flame.
  5. Now add 2 cups of sugar.
  6. Now add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice so that the sugar will not caramelized.
  7. Now cook until the sugar melts.
  8. Now add cinnamon sticks, cardamons and food colour and mix them well.
  9. Now cook about 12 to 15 minutes until the sugar syrup thickened and then turn off the flame and pour the mixture in a bowl. It is ready and refrigerate it and enjoy after cool down.
