  17. Get 1 tsp black pepper powder
  18. Make ready 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  19. Make ready 1 tsp coriander powder
  20. Take 1 tbsp Ginger, garlic and green chilli paste
  21. Get 1/2 tsp onion seeds
  22. Prepare 1 tsp ghee (optional)
  23. Make ready As required Spring onion

  25. Get As required Oil for cooking

Steps to make POTATO  CURRY  WITH   PARWAL PAKORA:
  1. Marinate the Parwal with turmeric powder and salt. Keep aside for 1 hour.
  2. Take a bowl. Add besan, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, ginger, garlic and green chilli paste, onion seeds, coriander powder and salt. Mix it well Add limited water. Again mix it well. Make a thick batter. Heat oil in kadai. When the oil is hot.
  3. Dip the parwal in the besan mixture. Dip fry the pakoras till it become light brown in colour. Once it is done. Transfer to a tissue paper. Drain the excess oil. And keep aside.
  4. In the same kadai. Add little oil. Add cumin seeds and 1 bay leaf. Let it crackle. Fry the potatoes till it become light brown in colour. Then add onion and tomato paste, ginger, green chilli and garlic paste also.. Saute it for few minutes. Then add all the dry ingredients. Mix it well. Till the raw smell of masala goes off. Once it is done. Add water as needed. Boil it for 5 minutes. After that add parwal pakoras. Cook for about 3 minutes. The add 1 tsp ghee. Once it is done
  5. Transfer to a beautiful white serving plate. Garnish with spring onion. Now it is ready to serve with hot steam rice
