  1. Get 500 gm peeled and washed prawns

Dry roast the spices from Kashmiri chillies to garlic, cool and grind to a powder. Your 'Kundapur masala' is ready. *To make fried onion paste : Slice two onions and fry in oil on medium heat till dark brown, cool and grind to a paste with a tbsp. of yogurt. Clean, shell and devein the prawns. Instructions to make Prawns Ghee Roast:
  1. Take pan roast cumin seeds, mustard seeds,  curry leaves, fennel seeds, soaked red chilies and black pepper. grind it into fine.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in pan add prawns, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and cooked till prawns done.
  3. Remove  prawns in plate. Add grinded paste and ghee in it and cook, add tamarind and cook till ghee over float on masala.
  4. Add prawns and cook till masala dry.
  5. Prawns ghee roast ready to serve.
  6. Serve this as appetizer or u can eat this with chapati also.
